Global Senior Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare and evaluate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for designated client portfolios.

• Create and oversee annual operating budgets along with periodic forecasts for various properties.

• Perform variance analysis to compare actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying trends and actionable insights.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.

• Collaborate with property management teams, leasing professionals, and clients to address financial inquiries and offer strategic financial guidance.

• Maintain and improve financial models and reporting templates.

• Engage in client meetings and presentations, conveying financial performance and strategic recommendations.

• Support client relationship management and business development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 5-8 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in real estate, property management, or a related sector.

• Strong proficiency in accounting principles (GAAP).

• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and intricate formulas.

• Experience with financial reporting software and ERP systems.

• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) or progress towards certification.

• Ability to manage multiple client relationships and competing priorities while ensuring high attention to detail and adherence to tight deadlines.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in presenting financial information to diverse audiences.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or Accounting with a focus on real estate or corporate finance.

• Preferred: Experience in commercial real estate services, property management, or real estate investment management.

• Preferred: Familiarity with CAM reconciliations, lease accounting, capital expenditure planning, and property valuation methodologies.

• Preferred: Experience with Hyperion, Anaplan, or similar enterprise planning software.

• Preferred: Knowledge of NOI, cap rates, IRR, and portfolio-level financial analysis.

• Preferred: Experience with process improvement and system implementation.

• Preferred: Project management and mentoring experience.
