This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Oversee the product roadmap and lifecycle strategy for the existing automated device install base, which includes conducting voice-of-customer research, market analysis, and launch strategies.
• Assist in long-term SIOP demand planning for devices and consumables by utilizing market and customer insights.
• Convert market trends, customer insights, and unmet needs into actionable strategies that drive portfolio growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and strategic vendors, outlining scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Clinical, Medical, Business Operations, and Commercial teams to establish product requirements and prioritize the next-generation portfolio roadmap.
• Transform voice-of-customer feedback from physicians, apheresis nurses, hospital procurement and IT teams, and internal stakeholders into clear, actionable user requirements.
• Direct the roadmap for a digital solution offering that gathers treatment, device, and outcomes data across the global install base.
• Specify requirements for data architecture, system integrations, interoperability standards, cybersecurity, and data privacy compliance.
• Partner with IT, software engineering, and QA/RA teams to ensure platform compliance with relevant medical device software standards.
• Design dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics capabilities for clinical customers and internal business partners.
• Identify and collaborate with external partners to ensure connectivity across LIS or HIS systems.
• Act as the internal product expert and voice-of-customer advocate across R&D, Commercial, Business Operations, and Medical teams.
• Assist in market and ROI analysis through market assessments and disease-state evaluations.
• Contribute to pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies to ensure launch readiness and market acceptance.
• Monitor and communicate product performance metrics, adoption trends, and post-launch customer feedback to guide portfolio decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of global product management experience.
• Experience with both medical device or hardware products and software, IT, or data analytics solutions.
• Background in medical devices, diagnostics, healthcare technology, or other regulated healthcare environments.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards and compliance requirements, including HIPAA, GDPR, HL7/FHIR, IEC 62304, or similar frameworks.
• Proven experience supporting the global launch of a new product or platform in a regulated medical device environment.
• Strong cross-functional leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence and work collaboratively across R&D, Regulatory, Clinical Affairs, and Commercial teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly present complex information to executive stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset and a data-driven approach to assessing user feedback, market insights, and analytics reports.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits, conferences, and cross-site collaboration.
• Experience in apheresis, transfusion medicine, pharma device, or transplant/oncology therapeutic areas is preferred.
• Familiarity with agile/scrum software development methodologies is preferred.
• Multilingual abilities or international commercial experience is an advantage.
