Global Post Development Manager

📋 Description

• Define the vision and strategic direction for global post development.

• Spearhead the worldwide strategy for CNC post development, validation, and support.

• Establish technical standards to ensure quality, consistency, and scalability.

• Provide guidance to teams focused on multi-axis, mill-turn, Swiss-type, and intricate machine kinematics.

• Act as the executive point of escalation for significant technical challenges.

• Investigate AI-driven development and automation technologies.

• Lead, mentor, and grow globally distributed technical teams.

• Promote accountability, collaboration, innovation, and a customer-centric approach.

• Attract, nurture, and retain top technical talent.

• Evaluate organizational capabilities, structure, and future workforce requirements.

• Unite teams across various regions, cultures, and time zones.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and regional leaders.

• Convert market opportunities and customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Enhance service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational performance via KPIs and continuous improvement.

• Align the Post Development organization with prospective business growth and technological advancements.

• Report directly to the President of GibbsCAM.

• Travel internationally up to 30%.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust leadership experience managing technical or engineering teams in a global context.

• In-depth knowledge of CNC machining, CNC programming, G-code, and post-processing technologies.

• Comprehensive understanding of contemporary manufacturing processes and machine behaviors.

• Proven history of driving operational excellence, organizational development, and technical quality.

• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across different functions and geographic locations.

• Experience utilizing modern technologies, including AI-enabled tools, digital workflows, and software-driven manufacturing ecosystems.

• Experience with GibbsCAM is preferred.

• Previous role as a CAM Application Engineer is preferred.

• Experience engaging with OEMs, manufacturing customers, or reseller networks is preferred.

• Familiarity with advanced manufacturing, automation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives is preferred.
