This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
β’ Define the vision and strategic direction for global post development.
β’ Spearhead the worldwide strategy for CNC post development, validation, and support.
β’ Establish technical standards to ensure quality, consistency, and scalability.
β’ Provide guidance to teams focused on multi-axis, mill-turn, Swiss-type, and intricate machine kinematics.
β’ Act as the executive point of escalation for significant technical challenges.
β’ Investigate AI-driven development and automation technologies.
β’ Lead, mentor, and grow globally distributed technical teams.
β’ Promote accountability, collaboration, innovation, and a customer-centric approach.
β’ Attract, nurture, and retain top technical talent.
β’ Evaluate organizational capabilities, structure, and future workforce requirements.
β’ Unite teams across various regions, cultures, and time zones.
β’ Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and regional leaders.
β’ Convert market opportunities and customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.
β’ Enhance service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational performance via KPIs and continuous improvement.
β’ Align the Post Development organization with prospective business growth and technological advancements.
β’ Report directly to the President of GibbsCAM.
β’ Travel internationally up to 30%.
β’ Robust leadership experience managing technical or engineering teams in a global context.
β’ In-depth knowledge of CNC machining, CNC programming, G-code, and post-processing technologies.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of contemporary manufacturing processes and machine behaviors.
β’ Proven history of driving operational excellence, organizational development, and technical quality.
β’ Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across different functions and geographic locations.
β’ Experience utilizing modern technologies, including AI-enabled tools, digital workflows, and software-driven manufacturing ecosystems.
β’ Experience with GibbsCAM is preferred.
β’ Previous role as a CAM Application Engineer is preferred.
β’ Experience engaging with OEMs, manufacturing customers, or reseller networks is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with advanced manufacturing, automation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives is preferred.
