This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Direct the operational strategy for Blue Bottle's Global Brand Center of Excellence, creating systems, governance, and methodologies for premier brand execution.
• Take charge of annual brand planning, the global marketing calendar, seasonal planning cadence, and cross-functional workback schedules across various markets.
• Facilitate communication and alignment between global and regional teams, ensuring priorities, timelines, dependencies, and decisions are transparent.
• Lead project management standards, tools, and best practices within the Brand organization.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Communications, Product Management, Architecture & Café Design, along with regional leadership on global campaigns, launches, and strategic projects.
• Manage global brand budgets, production planning, and resource distribution.
• Act as Executive Producer for global creative productions, overseeing production planning, agency and vendor management, contract negotiations, and budget supervision.
• Develop scalable production processes and governance for creative development, which includes seasonal campaigns, photography, film, and content creation.
• Ensure readiness for launches of new cafés, significant brand initiatives, and product rollouts.
• Conduct seasonal business reviews, hindsight sessions, reporting, and organizational insights.
• Recognize opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance communication, and promote operational excellence.
• Over 10 years of experience in leading Brand Operations, Creative Operations, Studio Operations, Production, Program Management, or comparable operational leadership roles.
• Proven track record in developing and scaling operational systems within high-performing creative, marketing, or design environments.
• Established success in managing complex, cross-functional initiatives across global and matrixed organizations.
• Profound understanding of integrated marketing, creative development, content production, and launch planning.
• Expertise in implementing and enhancing project management systems, production workflows, and operational processes.
• Experience in managing production budgets, agency partnerships, vendor negotiations, and external collaborators.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
• Strong judgment and meticulous attention to detail, capable of balancing strategic priorities with operational execution.
• Experience working in Asia and a respect for regional cultural and business subtleties.
• Professional fluency in English is required.
• Proficiency in Mandarin or Japanese is highly advantageous.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the San Francisco Bay Area or Los Angeles.
