This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise and manage global accounting operations and financial reporting across 14 international entities.
• Ensure precision and compliance with US GAAP as well as local statutory standards.
• Lead an international team of around 15 finance professionals, primarily located in India.
• Oversee intricate multi-entity statutory obligations.
• Propel process enhancements utilizing modern software and AI-driven tools to automate workflows and expedite close timelines.
• Ensure that financial transactions and reporting comply with government regulations, compliance mandates, and the standards set by boards, banks, and investors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to collect financial data and support operational goals.
• Motivate, inspire, and mentor accounting professionals during change management and operational scaling.
• Develop and refine accounting policies and procedures to facilitate growth and scalability.
• Maintain the integrity of financial data and reporting for board-level, investor, and executive decision-making.
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and practical experience with multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction financial consolidations and local statutory reporting for global subsidiaries.
• Background in Big 4 public accounting is essential.
• Experience in high-growth, hyperscaler, or well-known technology environments.
• Proven history of process automation, workflow optimization, and modernizing manual accounting practices.
• Proficient in NetSuite ERP and familiar with FloQast, Concur, and Tipalti.
• Experience in managing accounts payable, travel and expenses, leases, commissions, corporate card, expense policy management, month-end close, and general ledger management.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex financial data to executive leadership and board members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proactive in identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Active CPA or CMA certification is required.
• Demonstrated experience in a senior accounting leadership position within a growing technology or SaaS company.
