Global Contracting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead negotiations for contracts with hotels, transportation providers, restaurants, attractions, and guides.

• Create and implement strategies for vendor negotiations.

• Ensure that agreements comply with the company's terms, conditions, and quality standards.

• Manage and nurture relationships with vendors across all contracted tour elements.

• Address challenges related to vendors, including additional dates, custom requests, and operational requirements.

• Establish partnerships that promote consistent tour excellence delivery.

• Attain contracting objectives that align with the company's financial goals and competitive stance.

• Secure inventory necessary for tour operations and business planning.

• Assist various departments with issues and solutions related to contracting.

• Conduct research and prepare for in-destination contracting meetings.

• Collaborate with Product Management to assess excellence outcomes and implement enhancements.

• Work alongside internal stakeholders on product and operational strategies.

• Investigate and utilize AI and emerging technologies to enhance processes, content, and efficiency.

• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.

• Knowledge of travel products and various destinations.

• 2-5 years of experience in contract negotiation.
