This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement sourcing strategies for designated direct material commodity categories.
• Perform market, supplier, spend, and trend analysis to uncover sourcing opportunities.
• Oversee RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and vendor negotiations with a focus on total cost of ownership.
• Assess, qualify, and manage supplier relationships and performance metrics.
• Address supply chain issues and uphold contractual terms and obligations.
• Formulate risk mitigation strategies for geopolitical risks, supply disruptions, capacity limitations, and single-source dependencies.
• Spot cost-saving opportunities through supplier consolidation, contract optimization, and value engineering initiatives.
• Negotiate and oversee supplier contracts, renewals, modifications, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and monitor procurement metrics, savings, compliance, and supplier performance indicators.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Administrative teams.
• Lead project planning, decision-making processes, and escalations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on procurement processes and systems.
• Assist in maintaining production continuity and meeting customer delivery needs.
• Prepare business cases, sourcing recommendations, and presentations for management.
• Ensure compliance with procurement, contractual, regulatory, ethical, sustainability, and responsible sourcing standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement.
• Proven expertise in developing and executing comprehensive supply chain strategies.
• Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong negotiation skills with a history of achieving favorable terms.
• Excellent project management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced global environment.
• Proficient in analyzing complex spend data, market trends, and supplier performance.
• In-depth knowledge of supplier relationship management and strategic partnerships.
• Familiarity with procurement tools, systems, and spend analysis platforms.
• Capacity to independently prioritize tasks, drive results, and resolve issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Procurement certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are advantageous.
