This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Instruct asynchronous undergraduate and graduate courses for adult learners.
• Provide high-quality and engaging online education.
• Relate learning experiences to professional development and workforce skills.
• Create a nurturing educational atmosphere for adult students.
• Emphasize student learning, success, and prompt feedback.
• Maintain effective communication with students and respond swiftly to their inquiries.
• Uphold academic integrity and adhere to university policies.
• Work collaboratively with academic support teams to enhance the student experience.
• Design and enhance courses as well as innovative teaching methods alongside instructional designers, assessment specialists, and other professionals.
• Create and refine course materials, including texts, multimedia, assessment tools, and teaching modalities.
• Review, support, and mentor the instructional quality of associate faculty.
• Lead ongoing improvements in curriculum and instructional design.
• Collaborate with student success teams, student affairs, library services, writing centers, access and wellness, academic advising, and career services.
• Foster students' connection to the university in an online setting.
• Attend and contribute to department, college, and university meetings.
• Engage in shared governance activities and committees.
• Participate in search and hiring committees.
• Support accreditation and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and assist faculty and staff.
• Collaborate on university-wide student success and other projects.
• A master’s degree in business, management, organizational studies, or a closely related field is required.
• Demonstrated effective preparation, depth of knowledge in a specialized area, and ability to deliver high-quality teaching, service, and scholarly contributions.
• Knowledge of best practices in teaching and learning, including curriculum development and assessment strategies, particularly in virtual settings.
• A collaborative and student-focused approach to leadership and instructional support.
• Capability to create inclusive, engaging, and supportive online learning environments.
• Proficient in communicating effectively and compassionately with adult learners.
• Ability to align academic content with workforce requirements and industry trends.
• Expertise in using educational technology and learning management systems.
• Skill in interpreting student success data and utilizing insights to enhance teaching practices and curriculum design.
