This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement the global benefits strategy in alignment with company and departmental goals.
• Oversee the execution, administration, and improvement of benefit programs on a global scale.
• Organize and launch open enrollment for plans outside the US, Canada, and UK.
• Co-manage open enrollment processes for plans in the US, Canada, and UK.
• Ensure adherence to country-specific statutory benefits regulations and requirements.
• Evaluate benefits utilization, participation, and cost trends, and suggest enhancements.
• Create reporting and executive-level dashboards for analysis.
• Communicate benefit programs effectively to both employees and managers.
• Maintain relationships with brokers, advisors, vendors, and external partners.
• Finalize contracts, agreements, summary plan descriptions, and plan documents related to benefits.
• Develop, uphold, and educate employees on policies related to benefits.
• Address escalated claims and customer service issues with global vendors and brokers.
• Supervise leave programs, COBRA, and associated company initiatives.
• Manage the company’s Wellness Program.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of benefits professionals.
• Set team objectives, performance standards, and development plans.
• Promote operational excellence through process improvements and automation.
• Enhance organizational capability through knowledge sharing and cross-training.
• Prepare analyses and materials for executive leadership presentations.
• Develop and provide global benefits training and communications.
• Utilize automation to streamline manual benefits administration and support the VP of Total Rewards.
• Bachelor’s degree required, with at least 5-7 years of progressive benefits experience, or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 8+ years of progressive benefits experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience leading benefits teams.
• Experience in supporting multinational organizations.
• Working knowledge of health benefits, retirement plans, leaves of absence, and relevant laws/regulations in applicable countries.
• Strong technical skills and experience with HRIS systems, preferably UKG Pro.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Capability to exercise sound judgment and perform under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse clients in both large group settings and one-on-one interactions.
• Capacity to maintain confidentiality and safeguard private personnel data.
