This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Propel territory expansion and meet sales targets through effective account planning and management.
• Build and sustain trusted partnerships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, healthcare providers, and key stakeholders.
• Inform customers about Alcon’s glaucoma portfolio and facilitate product adoption through clinical discussions and engagement.
• Implement territory business strategies aimed at growing, optimizing, and safeguarding key accounts.
• Conduct regular in-person visits to customers and deliver educational presentations, speaker programs, and events.
• Discover growth opportunities by analyzing market trends, customer requirements, and competitive insights.
• Collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access teams, Marketing, and Regional Sales Leadership.
• Leverage data and insights to formulate account strategies that drive business outcomes and improve customer engagement.
• Oversee a geographically diverse territory that requires considerable travel and customer interaction.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant experience.
• Alternative qualifications: high school diploma plus 10 years, associate degree plus 6 years, or M.S. with no experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English.
• Must reside within the designated Indiana territory.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and maintenance of an acceptable driving record are required.
• 100% travel is mandatory.
• Experience in sales account management is preferred.
• 2 years of demonstrated experience in the healthcare industry is preferred, ideally within the eye care pharmaceutical or medical device sectors.
• Technical aptitude and adaptability are essential.
