GIS Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Enhance and update data management systems

• Input and adjust data as necessary

• Implement analytical methodologies

• Meet and surpass productivity and quality benchmarks

• Operate within project deadlines and budgetary limitations

• Conduct timely, clear, and professional communications in suitable formats

• Assess workflows and procedural efficiencies

• Recognize opportunities for enhancement

• Engage in the development of workflows and processes

• Determine information to communicate to clients and project stakeholders via team leads and project managers

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum one year of relevant work experience or a GIS certification

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and ArcGIS

• Strong work ethic and a commitment to working in a production-oriented environment

• Bachelor of Science degree in a GIS-related field is preferred

• Previous experience with GIS software in the utility or pipeline sectors is advantageous

• Familiarity with CADD is a plus

• Solid understanding of client GIS specifications
