GIS Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Manage and refresh GIS fiber network information utilizing ArcGIS Pro and QGIS, integrating field audits, as-builts, and construction documents.

• Digitize and modify vector data in accordance with project-specific guidelines.

• Generate basic network maps and reports for planning, permitting, and engineering stages.

• Process and adapt geospatial data from various public sources and formats.

• Utilize geoprocessing tools and conduct QC/QA evaluations to ensure data integrity and topological accuracy.

• Work in collaboration with engineers, project managers, and GIS teams to achieve deadlines and uphold JSI standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in GIS.

• Certification or degree in GIS, engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong computer proficiency.

• Fundamental understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• High degree of attention to detail.
