📋 Description

• Conduct geospatial analysis utilizing satellite imagery and software for the collection, processing, examination, and visualization of geospatial data.

• Classify and interpret imagery for assessing land use and land cover, detecting changes, and creating thematic maps.

• Analyze, edit, and vectorize geographic information.

• Employ GIS tools and company systems to analyze and process geospatial data.

• Generate information for updating spatial databases.

• Assist in the development of manuals and documentation pertaining to geospatial processes.

• Execute related tasks as instructed by leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Cartographic Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Surveying Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geoprocessing Technology, Geography, Biology, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

• Experience in interpreting satellite imagery for the classification of land use and land cover.

• Basic understanding of vectorization techniques using QGIS or ArcGIS.

• Fundamental knowledge of cartography, remote sensing, and geoprocessing.

• Familiarity with the basics of photointerpretation and image classification.

• Basic understanding of Brazilian biomes, types of vegetation, and socio-environmental dynamics.

• Capability to manage routine processes systematically, with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate in a team environment and communicate effectively.

• Strong analytical skills and a commitment to ongoing learning.
