This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop, sustain, and enhance ArcGIS Online dashboards, map services, web layers, and reporting tools for coverage reinvestment initiatives.

• Design and create web-based GIS applications and visualization tools utilizing JavaScript GIS frameworks such as ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Leaflet, Mapbox, and OpenLayers.

• Integrate GIS functionality within web applications, ensuring responsive, user-friendly, and accessible interfaces.

• Import, export, and organize extensive ArcGIS datasets and metadata while adhering to geospatial data standards.

• Process and analyze crowdsourced datasets and geospatial information for Area of Interest (AOI) analysis, investment decisions, and program reporting.

• Produce geospatial outputs including maps, layers, attribute tables, dashboards, and documentation that meet FirstNet Authority accuracy and traceability standards.

• Support senior GIS staff with workflows, model executions, data preparation, and version control for nationwide coverage planning.

• Perform routine validation and quality checks on GIS datasets.

• Maintain repository structures, file catalogs, and content within ArcGIS Online.

• Revise SOPs, workflow diagrams, and materials for executive, technical, and program evaluations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

• A bachelor’s degree is required.

• At least 6+ years of experience as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst or Developer.

• A graduate certification or advanced degree may substitute for one year of experience.

• Experience in establishing and maintaining ArcGIS Online (AGOL) mapping and reporting dashboards.

• Professional experience in developing GIS applications with JavaScript-based web mapping tools.

• GIS development experience in creating, modifying, and deploying web GIS components such as maps, layers, widgets, and interactive geospatial tools.

• Proficient in importing and exporting large ArcGIS datasets and related information.

• Experience in utilizing crowdsourced data to generate actionable insights for investment activities.
