This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Conduct sophisticated geospatial analyses to facilitate nationwide coverage reinvestment initiatives, encompassing suitability models, geospatial overlays, multi-criteria assessments, and comprehensive spatial evaluations to pinpoint optimal Areas of Interest (AOI) candidate locations.
• Oversee the management, processing, and analysis of extensive ArcGIS datasets utilizing scripts, automation, and advanced geoprocessing tools.
• Create technically precise maps, layers, models, and documentation packages to support engineering, business, and investment decision-making across various multi-state and national public safety programs.
• Combine crowdsourced datasets, RAN-derived inputs, and third-party GIS sources to develop insights that inform AOI identification, prioritization, and justification.
• Design, validate, and enhance workflows for large datasets to ensure data integrity, repeatability, and auditability.
• Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience as a GIS analyst (a graduate certification or advanced degree may substitute for 1 year of experience).
• Proficient in utilizing ArcGIS, data management tools, and scripting to process large databases that support GIS activities.
• Experience with ArcGIS Suitability Modeling on a nationwide scale to determine optimal locations that align with specific objectives.
• Proven knowledge and experience with multi-state and/or national public safety communications programs or projects.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills when managing large datasets within ArcGIS.
• Candidates seeking employment in the US must possess work authorization that does not currently or will not in the future require visa sponsorship for employment authorization in the United States.
• Preferred: Experience leveraging crowdsourced data to generate insights that facilitate investment activities.
• Preferred: Familiarity with integrating a variety of datasets (crowdsourced, RAN inputs, third-party GIS sources) for nationwide analysis.
