This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Lead and implement AdGem's commercial growth strategy in Japan.
• Generate opportunities, develop a pipeline, and secure revenue-generating partnerships.
• Identify, cultivate, negotiate, and finalize strategic partnerships across mobile publishing, loyalty, fintech, rewarded advertising, and digital ecosystems.
• Manage the regional pipeline, revenue growth, forecasting, and overall commercial performance.
• Establish and nurture senior-level relationships with key partners and decision-makers throughout Japan.
• Represent AdGem at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
• Provide market intelligence and strategic insights to AdAction leadership regarding opportunities, competition, regulatory factors, and local market trends in Japan.
• Collaborate with internal product, operations, and account management teams to ensure successful launches and promote long-term partner growth.
• Assist in developing the infrastructure, partnerships, and resources necessary to scale AdGem's business in Japan.
• Act as AdGem's senior commercial representative in Japan.
• Over 7 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or enterprise sales within ad tech, mobile advertising, digital media, fintech, loyalty, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success in generating revenue and closing strategic partnerships in Japan.
• Extensive knowledge of Japan's local commercial and digital ecosystem.
• Established senior-level network within Japan's mobile publishing, ad tech, loyalty, fintech, or digital sectors.
• Proven ability to manage and close complex commercial partnerships independently.
• Strong understanding of performance marketing and ad tech economics, including CPI, eCPM, ARPDAU, retention, LTV, and monetization.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy.
• Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Native-level proficiency in Japanese and fluency in English required.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Japan and regionally as needed, approximately 50–75% of the time.
• Comfortable working as an independent contractor or consultant.
