General Manager – Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Identify and connect with businesses, including factories, as well as independent manual and skilled workers throughout the Philippines and nearby regions.

• Ensure that the collected data is securely transmitted and uploaded to the company's servers.

• Oversee local supply chains for tools, hardware components, and facility requirements.

• Organize specific parts and site preparations needed for data operations.

• Implement stringent quality assurance measures to guarantee that the collected data is accurate and free of errors.

• Supervise, mentor, and coordinate logistics contractors and interns.

• Be accountable for team performance, morale, and discipline.

• Maintain a 24/7 operational calendar and manage shifts and leave schedules.

• Enhance data collection processes to improve efficiency and throughput while maintaining quality.

• Act as a liaison between the US engineering team and the local execution team.

• Provide regular updates to US leadership and simplify complex technical requirements into clear instructions for the team.

• Engage hands-on with hardware and resolve operational issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in operations management, project management, or a leadership position in a dynamic environment such as manufacturing, logistics, or tech operations.

• Outstanding English and Filipino communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Experience in managing large and diverse teams of contractors or interns.

• Practical technical skills and comfort in working with robotics, hardware, and basic tools.

• Capability to handle complex schedules and resource allocation across various time zones.

• Access to fiber internet, such as PLDT Fiber, Converge, or Globe Fiber, with a preferred speed of 100/50 Mbps.

• Backup internet that can achieve at least 20 Mbps.

• A quiet and conducive workspace at home.
