This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement a long-term growth strategy for Military Health and Veterans Affairs.
• Establish priorities for customers, markets, services, revenue streams, pipeline development, market access, partnerships, and investment strategies.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of Military Health and VA priorities, funding allocations, modernization efforts, acquisition tactics, and competitive landscapes.
• Create and uphold strategic account plans for key customers.
• Convert S&P's capabilities, historical performance, relationships, and delivery expertise into unique approaches.
• Represent S&P in high-level customer interactions, industry associations, conferences, partner forums, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Provide counsel to the Chief Growth Officer and executive leadership regarding opportunities, risks, capabilities, and investment decisions.
• Cultivate trusted advisor relationships with senior federal healthcare decision-makers, prime contractors, technology vendors, and strategic partners.
• Identify, assess, and advance aligned opportunities.
• Direct early opportunity strategy, solution direction, customer engagement, competitive positioning, win themes, and partnership strategies.
• Develop strategies for teaming and partnerships.
• Collaborate with the Head of Capture on priority pursuits.
• Recognize evolving customer needs and suggest portfolio services, capabilities, partnerships, and investment opportunities.
• Partner with Service Delivery to create practical, consistently deliverable offerings.
• Introduce new offerings to the market and enhance the impact on existing programs.
• Take ownership of bookings, revenue, pipeline, and market expansion targets.
• Track opportunity progression, pipeline quality, forecasts, win rates, and business performance; report findings to executive leadership.
• Assist in annual planning, budgeting, and investment decision-making.
• Safeguard and enhance existing program positions by anticipating retention risks, planning for recompetes, and pursuing organic growth.
• Over 10 years of senior-level growth leadership, business development, and/or capture experience in the federal sector.
• Extensive experience in Military Health and Veterans Affairs.
• Proven track record in expanding technology consulting, health IT modernization, implementation, optimization, or related professional services.
• Strong preference for candidates with Oracle Health knowledge.
• Demonstrated history of originating and securing complex opportunities, enhancing market position, and achieving measurable revenue growth.
• Experience leveraging customer and market insights to develop new offerings and fostering sustainable growth beyond individual pursuits.
• Established credibility and relationships within Military Health, Veterans Affairs, prime contractors, technology partners, and the larger federal healthcare ecosystem.
• Possess strong executive presence and sound judgment.
• Alignment with S&P's core values.
• Ability to influence customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a government clearance when necessary for client engagements.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25–50% of the time.
• Proximity to the Washington, DC, metropolitan area is advantageous.
