This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Sardine's market strategy, revenue growth, and customer success initiatives in Mexico.

• Report directly to the Global Head of Expansion.

• Collaborate across departments including Sales, Marketing, Product, Account Management, and Partnerships.

• Identify and prioritize market entry and expansion efforts in Mexico based on regulatory status, fraud landscape, and potential market size.

• Create market-specific strategies that align with Mexico's financial infrastructure and compliance requirements.

• Impact regional organizational planning and assist with recruitment as the Mexico business grows.

• Drive Mexico's ARR and new customer acquisition by fostering strategic opportunities, shaping market strategy, and offering fraud expertise throughout the sales process.

• Shape the regional go-to-market strategy in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Product teams.

• Utilize Sardine's Sonar consortium network in discussions with prospects and partners.

• Develop operational playbooks for entering, scaling, and retaining customers in Mexico.

• Build strategic partnerships with Mexican banks, payment networks like SPEI and CoDi, and system integrators.

• Collaborate with Account Management on strategic enterprise accounts, executive business reviews, and expansion opportunities.

• Advocate for Mexican customer needs by interpreting feedback, fraud trends, and regional requirements into product and market strategies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in a go-to-market, general management, or leadership role in fintech, payments, or fraud/risk technology, preferably with direct experience in the Mexican market.

• Established network of connections with banks, payment networks, regulators, and system integrators in Mexico.

• A proven history of driving revenue growth and developing go-to-market strategies in new or scaling markets.

• In-depth knowledge of Mexico's regulatory, compliance, and fraud landscape.

• Strong cross-functional leadership abilities, with experience collaborating across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

• Willing to travel within the region as necessary.

• Direct experience engaging with enterprise customers in fraud, risk, compliance, payments, or identity products.
