This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, manage, scope, and estimate extensive and intricate commercial claims as well as significant homeowners' claims.

• Investigate and assess coverage and damage matters, conveying findings to clients.

• Supervise and manage Business Personal Property losses, Business Income Losses, Homeowners Content losses, and Homeowners Loss of Use/Loss of Rent claims.

• Handle Personal Lines cases from initiation to completion, including thorough coverage analysis and evaluation of loss exposures across Coverages A, B, C, and D.

• Manage commercial losses, including property damage claims with potential loss exposures exceeding $2 million.

• Address complex Business Personal Property losses and assist in documenting business inventories.

• Analyze business interruption claims utilizing business reports, accounting documents, and payroll reports with support from accounting resources.

• Collaborate with business owners, CEOs, and executives while investigating claims and applying knowledge of Commercial BOP and CPP policies.

• Work alongside contractors, public adjusters, attorneys, and internal business associates.

• Detect suspicious losses, suggest SIU reviews, and aid in investigations.

• Process claims in accordance with relevant regulations and internal procedures.

• Provide support for catastrophe responses, including potential overtime and deployment.

• Coach, mentor, and engage with team members to drive transformation.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of field property claims experience.

• Proficient in Claims Connect/Symbility estimating, including personal lines and commercial large loss estimation.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Empathetic interpersonal abilities.

• Adjuster licensed in the home state or holds a non-resident license if not required; must meet licensing requirements for additional states as necessary.

• Willingness to travel to loss locations on short notice and dedicate the required time on-site to scope and document damages, assist insureds with the claims process, and manage all aspects of the claim file.

• Capability to conduct thorough field inspections on large commercial properties and substantial homes promptly.

• Proficient in utilizing necessary equipment for inspections, including climbing ladders to examine all phases of large structures.

• Experience in estimating and handling commercial/large/complex losses is highly preferred.

• Background in catastrophe-focused environments is highly preferred.

• Professional designations are highly preferred.
