Funding Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversees and directs all functions and aspects of the Funding Department.

• Leads the Funding Leadership Team within the designated territory, ensuring that responsibilities meet or surpass NSM standards.

• Collaborates with divisional, regional, branch, assistive technology, leadership, and support teams to execute Funding procedures in accordance with company policies and timelines.

• Manages the transaction cycle, from Ready to Process to Funding Approval.

• Coordinates the hiring, training, mentoring, performance evaluation, continuing education, and career advancement of the Funding Specialist Team.

• Develops and maintains training resources, guides, and progress tracking reports.

• Oversees the career progression of the Funding Leadership Team.

• Monitors the productivity, quality, and compassion levels of Funding Specialists and Lead Funding Specialists.

• Directs work order caseloads and reallocates responsibilities when necessary.

• Arranges temporary coverage to ensure timely and high-quality order processing.

• Shares Key Performance Indicators with direct reports and relevant stakeholders.

• Calculates and requests monthly bonus payments for direct reports.

• Manages the credit exception process for expedited delivery when applicable.

• Addresses employee and client conflicts and escalates unresolved matters.

• Handles payroll and administrative duties for direct reports.

• Completes ongoing education regarding company policies, procedures, payer issues, and updates.

• Performs additional duties as assigned by the Division Funding Director.

• Executes position responsibilities professionally and with minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Complex Rehab Technology Funding operations.

• At least 2 years of experience managing a team of a minimum of 10 direct reports.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret general business reports, technical procedures, work instructions, and governmental regulations.

• Must meet minimum productivity and quality benchmarks.

• Must maintain regular and predictable attendance.

• Must comply with work from home policies and requirements.
