Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design and implement innovative, high-quality, and robust financial applications and microservices.

• Participate as a member of an Agile Scrum team, responsible for the development and continuous evolution of a product or platform.

• Collaborate with software engineering teams, designers, quantitative analysts, product owners, product managers, and business stakeholders.

• Develop software using .NET, ASP.NET, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, NServiceBus, and Redis.

• Create automated unit, integration, and front-end tests utilizing xUnit, Moq, NSubstitute, Cypress, and Playwright.

• Enhance build, test, and deployment workflows through CI/CD pipelines using Docker, YAML, and GitHub Actions.

• Engage in technical design discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Deliver dependable, scalable, and maintainable software for client-facing products and internal business applications.

• Convert complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems.

• 2–5 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Proficient in .NET and C#.

• Commercial experience with React and JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Experience dealing with complex applications.

• Familiarity with APIs, relational databases, SQL, Git, testing, and CI/CD processes.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.

• Understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and the software development lifecycle.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team.

• Strong collaboration, interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, Ruby or Python, microservices or event-driven systems, Docker or Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code tools, Azure services, financial services experience, and experience working in distributed teams.
