Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and deploy user interfaces that are responsive, accessible, and visually coherent using React, TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Convert wireframes, mockups, and product specifications into reusable and maintainable front-end components.

• Create and sustain back-end APIs and services utilizing Java and Spring Boot.

• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs or GraphQL services.

• Craft and optimize SQL queries to enhance application functionality, performance, and data integrity.

• Elevate application speed, scalability, reliability, and usability through performance assessments and effective engineering practices.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, quality assurance specialists, and engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Produce clean, testable, well-documented code and engage in code reviews.

• Employ Git, npm, and related development tools to uphold code quality, version control, and build automation.

• Diagnose defects, resolve production challenges, and contribute to ongoing product enhancements.

• Engage in Agile planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Remain updated with contemporary front-end, back-end, cloud, and user-experience methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years of professional software development experience, with significant hands-on front-end development expertise.

• Strong command of React, TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Experience with Node.js and npm-based development processes.

• Proficient knowledge of Java and Spring Boot, including the capability to implement and manage straightforward back-end APIs.

• Strong SQL abilities, including the capacity to write efficient, well-structured database queries.

• Experience in integrating web applications with RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is also beneficial.

• Proficient with Git or a similar version-control system.

• Solid understanding of responsive design, usability, browser compatibility, and front-end performance.

• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional setting.

• At least one year of experience working in an Agile software development environment.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

• Knowledge of AWS or another cloud platform.

• Experience with browser debugging, profiling, and performance-testing tools.

• Understanding of secure coding practices, API authentication, and scalable application design.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
