
FUELS Payroll & HRIS Separation Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Lead the global HRIS and Payroll separation initiative within Project POWER.
• Develop and uphold the programme plan, including milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and the critical path.
• Manage various country-level workstreams and ensure alignment with the separation roadmap.
• Create governance, reporting, and escalation frameworks.
• Provide updates on progress that encompass risks, issues, dependencies, and necessary decisions.
• Oversee the separation of HRIS and Payroll services currently provided by Bureau Veritas Group.
• Define and manage future-state HRIS and Payroll solutions.
• Evaluate country-specific requirements, existing systems, contracts, interfaces, and dependencies.
• Oversee the separation, migration, and implementation of HR and payroll systems across various countries.
• Manage data migration, data ownership, system access, interfaces, and reporting arrangements.
• Supervise the separation of HR and payroll data, migration, system testing, user acceptance testing, and parallel payroll operations.
• Coordinate cutover planning and execution.
• Ensure that critical HR and payroll processes are tested and operational before Day D.
• Collaborate with FUELS, Bureau Veritas Group, IT, HR, Finance, Payroll, and external providers.
• Manage external HRIS and payroll vendors while monitoring their deliverables.
• Identify and manage programme risks and dependencies.
• Develop contingency plans and business continuity measures.
• Assist in the transition to the standalone FUELS operating model.
• Ensure the successful delivery of separation roadmaps, country plans, future-state arrangements, data migration, testing, payroll continuity, governance, and handover.
• Extensive experience in leading complex global HRIS, Payroll, HR Transformation, or HR Technology programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, multi-country programmes that involve numerous stakeholders, systems, and service providers.
• Experience in M&A, divestment, carve-out, separation, or standalone company implementation is highly desirable.
• Capability to work in a matrix environment alongside local HR networks and shared service centers.
• Strong skills in vendor and stakeholder management.
• Exceptional communication and influencing abilities.
• Competence to operate effectively at both senior leadership and operational levels.
• Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced, and time-sensitive transformation environment.
• Educated to a degree level or equivalent.
• A recognized HR qualification is highly recommended.
