Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create new user interfaces, components, and libraries for applications.

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

• Enhance applications for optimal speed and scalability.

• Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Backend Developers to ensure alignment between technology and design.

• Review code authored by fellow Front-End Developers.

• Adhere to industry-standard development best practices, focusing on accessibility and privacy compliance.

• Apply SEO best practices.

• Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and recommend tools for adoption or migration.

• Report to the Frontend Team Lead.

• Partner with Development and Design teams to create enterprise-level web applications and enhance the overall user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or 6+ years of equivalent professional experience without a degree.

• Strong proficiency in responsive web development, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES5+), TypeScript, accessibility (a11y), and Node.js.

• 3+ years of experience utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably React, including client-side scripting.

• 2+ years of experience with server-side rendering (SSR) using Express.js.

• In-depth understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and API testing/documentation using Postman.

• Proficient in state management and data flow, including the Redux ecosystem (redux-saga, reselect, redux-persist).

• Experience with HTTP clients like Axios, including interceptors and error handling.

• Extensive experience in frontend testing and monitoring, including Jest, React Testing Library, and Sentry.

• Expertise in translating Figma designs and prototypes into clean, valid, pixel-perfect, cross-browser compatible markup.

• Strong knowledge of CSS architectures and styling methodologies, including styled-components, styled-system, and CSS Modules.

• Experience with forms and validation using Formik and Yup.

• Solid understanding of performance optimization techniques, including code splitting and lazy loading.

• Familiarity with modern build tools such as Webpack and esbuild.

• Experience with object storage services like S3.

• Strong product and UX sensibility, with a keen attention to edge cases and error states.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience utilizing AI-powered development tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot.

• High-level proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
