Frontend Developer, Intermediate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in shaping the strategy, scope, milestones, and solution design of responsive, high-performing, and scalable user interfaces for designated modules and features.

• Collaborate with development teams to execute solutions through coding and the creation of components and modules.

• Produce maintainable code and unit tests, uphold front-end documentation, engage in testing cycles, and address defects.

• Cultivate and sustain a comprehensive understanding of functionalities to benefit the team.

• Lead discussions on architectural design for Angular front-end solutions and mentor developers on best practices.

• Contribute to and adhere to team and departmental coding standards.

• Attend client meetings as necessary.

• Take the lead and participate in in-person code reviews, pair programming, and collaborative problem-solving sessions.

• Engage in monthly Technology meetings to influence corporate technical processes, architecture, and strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software development experience with Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.

• Preferred experience in the healthcare and/or technology sectors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with equivalent work experience.

• Proven expertise in building applications using Angular and a thorough understanding of core concepts such as state management, observables, interceptors, and routing.

• Familiarity with agile and scrum methodologies.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Preferred experience with Slack, Google technologies, Figma, Jira, GitLab, Postman, Microsoft Azure, Jasmine/Karma, Cordova/Ionic, REST APIs, and Bootstrap.

• Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and networking.

• Knowledge or experience in healthcare, HL7/FHIR is an asset but not mandatory.
