This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Create and sustain WordPress websites within pre-existing template frameworks
• Design single-page landing pages and multi-page informational or service-oriented websites
• Develop high-converting landing pages tailored for marketing initiatives
• Convert sitemaps, wireframes, UX concepts, and designs into website layouts and user journeys
• Assist in the creation of sitemaps, page structures, content hierarchy, and overall website planning
• Design responsive interfaces suitable for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Utilize WordPress, Gutenberg, Elementor, and various other page builders for development
• Create reusable components, sections, and templates
• Implement forms, integrations, tracking mechanisms, pop-ups, plugins, and various website functionalities
• Oversee cPanel and hosting environments, including domains, DNS, SSL, nameservers, and email setup
• Manage website migrations, domain alterations, DNS updates, hosting arrangements, and launches
• Conduct quality assurance for websites and resolve technical issues pre- and post-launch
• Fix bugs, restore broken functionality, address layout concerns, and improve performance issues
• Provide ongoing website maintenance, updates, security, optimization, and troubleshooting support
• Implement SEO best practices, covering site structure, metadata, headings, internal linking, URLs, and technical aspects
• Leverage SEO, AEO, and technical SEO expertise during development
• Guarantee that websites are accessible, responsive, high-performing, and user-friendly
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, SEO specialists, and account managers
• Engage in website strategy, planning, and technical discussions
• Identify areas for enhancing functionality, usability, and user experience
• Keep updated with WordPress, web development trends, UI/UX practices, and emerging technologies
• Take ownership of projects from initial concept through to launch without daily supervision
• Candidate must be based in the Philippines
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant web development experience
• Significant experience in developing websites using WordPress
• Strong front-end development capabilities and design sensibility
• Excellent grasp of UI/UX principles
• Experience in developing sitemaps and website architecture
• Extensive experience with Elementor, Gutenberg, and other WordPress page builders
• Proficient in HTML and CSS
• Experience in PHP / WordPress theme development
• Knowledge of WordPress custom post types and custom fields
• Advanced skills in Elementor development
• Experience with Gutenberg / block development
• Good working knowledge of JavaScript
• Solid understanding of responsive web development practices
• Familiarity with SEO, AEO, and technical SEO fundamentals
• Experience using cPanel
• Knowledge of domains, DNS, nameservers, SSL, and hosting
• Proven experience troubleshooting WordPress websites
• Experience in website migrations, hosting setup, and launches
• Understanding of website performance and page speed optimization
• Experience with forms, plugins, integrations, and tracking systems
• Strong quality assurance skills and attention to detail
• Capable of interpreting designs into polished, functional websites
• Ability to independently troubleshoot technical and UX challenges
• Proficient in identifying opportunities to enhance user experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Capable of managing multiple projects and working independently
• Portfolio showcasing creativity, innovation, and strong design acumen
• Familiarity with Bricks or other WordPress builders
• Experience with WooCommerce
• Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Search Console
• Familiarity with schema markup
• Knowledge of website accessibility / WCAG
• Experience with Git / version control systems
• Experience with APIs and third-party integrations
• Understanding of web security principles
• Experience with staging environments
• Familiarity with Figma and ability to work from design files
• Graphic design skills are a plus
