French Linguistic Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess the quality and accuracy of LLM-generated French text in areas such as translation, summarization, dialogue, and grammar correction.

• Edit, enhance, or rewrite French content to align with linguistic and cultural standards.

• Annotate French text to highlight grammatical, syntactic, and semantic characteristics.

• Detect model errors and identify gaps in the language.

• Collaborate with AI researchers to enhance LLM performance.

• Deliver comprehensive linguistic feedback and analysis to inform model training initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in French, with a strong grasp of grammar, syntax, and stylistic elements.

• Professional background in translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or French NLP data tasks.

• In-depth understanding of linguistic nuances, regional differences, and contextually appropriate usage.

• An interest in AI and LLM-driven language technologies is preferred but not mandatory.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to spot subtle mistakes or awkward phrasing.

• Strong communication skills and experience in distributed, remote teams.

• Must be an independent contractor.

• H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
