Freelance Web Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop exceptional web designs that cater to real-world applications for the Tendem initiative.

• Create high-converting one-page layouts, pitch-style landing pages, and straightforward marketing websites using text, outlines, or pre-existing drafts.

• Convert brand materials and social media graphics into responsive web designs, organized components, and sections ready for developers or no-code solutions.

• Prepare and securely package files for production, including organizing Figma frames, exporting assets, and providing detailed specifications.

• Maintain visual consistency across interactive websites, static PDFs, and promotional materials.

• Check for responsiveness, spacing, clarity, layout quality, and compliance with contemporary web standards before final delivery.

• Take ownership of the visual style of web-related materials, ensuring alignment with the overarching brand identity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in web design, UI design, digital marketing design, or visual communications is preferred.

• A robust portfolio that prominently features landing pages, marketing websites, and one-pagers for products or startups.

• Comfort in working from initial prompts, AI-generated drafts, or established brand guidelines.

• A user-focused, conversion-oriented mindset.

• Capability to work autonomously.

• Advanced skills in Figma for creating scalable, responsive web designs, auto-layout components, and detailed design systems.

• Proficiency in designing high-converting, pitch-style landing pages.

• Comprehensive understanding of preparing, specifying, and packaging digital assets for execution by developers or through no-code platforms like Webflow and Framer.

• Ability to convey brand aesthetics across web interfaces, social media content, and presentation decks.

• A keen eye for clarity, whitespace, and current web design trends.

• Self-motivated work ethic with the capability to troubleshoot independently.

• Ability to produce production-ready assets promptly.

• Proficiency in English at an Upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher.
