This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for a diverse range of clients.

• Create and finalize translated content prior to delivery to clients.

• Translate from English to Danish.

• Work on legal documents, including Terms/Conditions and Contracts.

• Handle Information Technology materials, including User Interface content.

• Collaborate with the manager and Project Managers.

• Address the translation needs of international clients.

• Maintain quality standards while adhering to tight deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Danish.

• Expertise in Legal (Terms/Conditions and Contracts) and/or Information Technology (User Interface).

• Strong attention to detail, including spelling and grammar.

• Ability to uphold professionalism in all circumstances, particularly under tight deadlines.

• Applicants are required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

• Completion of Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM assessments is mandatory.

• One of the following qualifications: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or an equivalent degree with substantial translation training) from a recognized higher-education institution; two years of translation experience along with a college degree; five years of translation experience without a college degree; or a certificate of competence in translation issued by a relevant government authority.

• Relevant experience in Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM should be included in the CV.

• Proposed per-word rates in USD for Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading should be specified in the CV.
