Freelance Trainer – Controlling & Business Intelligence, Power BI, AI Tools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the success and motivation of learners

• Act as a coach to guide and support learners within a flipped-classroom framework

• Promote active participation with learning materials and their practical use

• Foster discussions about learned subjects using creative formats

• Establish a positive environment for learning and working

• Oversee the individual completion of assignments as part of project work

• Evaluate project submissions

• Assist in product development

• Conduct teaching sessions from the home office

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in Controlling & Business Intelligence (minimum of 2 years)

• In-depth knowledge in the fields of Controlling & Business Intelligence

• Degree in Business Administration, Controlling, Business Informatics, or related disciplines and/or relevant professional experience

• Understanding of AI fundamentals in reporting

• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization techniques

• Familiarity with forecasting and scenario planning methodologies

• Experience with automated reporting and anomaly detection processes

• Insights into AI-related processes

• Proficient in self-service Business Intelligence

• Experience using Power BI

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is advantageous

• Capability to utilize generative AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot in Excel effectively to enhance work processes

• Excellent command of German (C2) — the language of instruction

• Kindly include a summary of projects involving Power BI and/or AI tools in Controlling & Business Intelligence with your application

• Several years of experience as an online trainer is preferred

• Ideally, experience within the realm of publicly funded continuing education

• Employing innovative teaching methods is preferred

• Strong communication abilities and a passion for teamwork are desirable
