Freelance Project Manager, Pharma Agency

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with agency account teams and various functional departments across all channels.

• Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of all client work.

• Act as the primary contact who comprehends the scope of each client engagement.

• Oversee the execution of work within the agency.

• Manage an effective and efficient workflow for all projects associated with assigned accounts.

• Partner with agency teams to create project and staffing plans.

• Anticipate future workloads and allocate necessary resources.

• Prepare and oversee client MLR submissions.

• Establish timelines and provide estimates.

• Ensure projects remain within deadlines and budget; alert stakeholders to timing and budget issues.

• Schedule and lead project kick-off meetings.

• Collaborate with internal teams to define program needs and system specifications.

• Engage with clients as required.

• Initiate and facilitate formal internal review meetings to obtain creative approvals.

• Conduct formal team status meetings and document any risks and issues.

• Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve issues and risks.

• Perform internal copy and layout reviews, ensuring that assets obtain necessary creative and proofreading approvals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in an agency setting, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.

• Demonstrated experience in managing digital projects, including website builds, emails, banners, and content updates.

• Strong understanding of the technical aspects of website development.

• Extensive experience working on projects that involve data and analytics components.

• Ability to interpret data outputs to generate insights and inform additional strategies.

• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry or similarly regulated fields is advantageous.

• Familiarity with resourcing creative and technical teams across various projects is a plus.
