Freelance Medical Post-Editor, Spanish to Catalan

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Translate, edit for clarity, and review clinical trial documentation.

• Ensure that documents comply with the medical and ethical standards of the target language.

• Improve the readability, precision, and coherence of scientific and medical materials without changing the original intent.

• Work collaboratively with translation teams, offering constructive feedback and corrections.

• Keep abreast of developments in medical terminology.

• Ensure that documents align with relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in clinical translation and post-editing.

• Native proficiency in the target language (Catalan).

• Proficiency in the source language (Spanish).

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.

• Outstanding written communication abilities.

• Comprehensive understanding of clinical terminology and concepts.

• Capacity to work independently while meeting deadlines.

• Certification in medical post-editing, translation, or a related field (preferred).

• Familiarity with memoQ (preferred).

• A degree in Medicine or Pharmacy would be advantageous.
