Freelance Life Science Translator – English to Traditional Chinese (TW)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +21 more states.

📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for clients within the Investment Banking industry

• Create and finalize translation deliverables prior to client submission

• Translate from English to Traditional Chinese (Taiwan)

• Work with LS-Clinical-Legal materials

• Collaborate with managers and Project Managers

• Complete translations and perform MTPE testing as part of the evaluation process

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan)

• Specialized in LS-Clinical-Legal translation

• Strong attention to detail, including spelling and grammar

• Ability to maintain professionalism in all circumstances, particularly under tight deadlines

• Preference for candidates in the Asian time zone

• Applicants must sign a confidentiality agreement

• Applicants are required to complete complimentary Translation and MTPE tests

• A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or a comparable degree with substantial translation training from a recognized higher education institution; OR

• 2 years of translation experience along with a college degree; OR

• 5 years of translation experience without a college degree; OR

• A certificate of competence in translation issued by a relevant government authority

• Relevant experience in English-to-Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) Translation and MTPE

• CV must include the proposed best Translation per-word rate and MTPE hourly rate in USD
