Freelance Long-Term EN – Traditional Chinese (TW) Life Science Translator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for clients within the Investment Banking sector.

• Create and finalize translated materials prior to client submission.

• Translate from English into Traditional Chinese (Taiwan).

• Work on LS-Clinical-Legal documents.

• Collaborate effectively with managers and Project Managers.

• Include pertinent Translation and MTPE experience along with proposed rates in your CV.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan).

• Expertise in life science, clinical, or legal translation.

• Strong attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.

• Ability to uphold professionalism while working under tight deadlines.

• Preference for candidates in the Asian time zone.

• Must agree to sign a confidentiality agreement.

• Completion of complimentary Translation and MTPE assessments is required.

• A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent qualification with substantial translation training from a recognized higher education institution; or

• A minimum of 2 years of translation experience along with a college degree; or

• At least 5 years of translation experience without a college degree; or

• A translation competence certificate issued by a relevant government authority.
