Freelance Long-Term EN – Traditional Chinese (TW) Life Science Translator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.

📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for clients in the Investment Banking industry.

• Translate from English to Traditional Chinese (Taiwan).

• Work on LS-Clinical-Legal materials.

• Create and finalize translated documents prior to submission to clients.

• Collaborate with managers and project managers.

• Complete translation and MTPE skills assessments.

• Provide relevant experience and proposed rates in your CV.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities in English and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan).

• Expertise in life sciences, clinical, or legal translation.

• Strong attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.

• Capability to maintain professionalism while working under tight deadlines.

• Preference for candidates in the Asian time zone.

• Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement.

• Must complete free Translation and MTPE assessments.

• A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent degree with substantial translation training from a recognized higher education institution; OR

• 2 years of translation experience combined with a college degree; OR

• 5 years of translation experience without a college degree; OR

• A certificate of competence in translation issued by an appropriate government authority.

• Relevant experience in Translation and MTPE.

• Applicants are required to submit the most recent CV, including proposed per-word Translation and hourly MTPE rates in USD.
