Freelance Korean – Vietnamese Game Translator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Translate and proofread content from Korean to Vietnamese for gaming localization projects.

• Engage in projects that span from indie games to AAA titles.

• Ensure a high-quality gaming experience tailored for Vietnamese players.

• Manage tags and character limitations as per project specifications.

• Utilize CAT tools during the translation and localization process.

• Successfully complete a translation test and sign a confidentiality agreement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Vietnamese.

• Strong command of both Korean and English.

• At least 2 years of experience in gaming localization.

• Proven expertise in Korean-to-Vietnamese proofreading.

• Specialized knowledge in Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy genres.

• Familiarity with gaming terminology is essential.

• Capability to adhere to instructions regarding tags and character limits.

• Proficient in using CAT tools.

• Strong grammar, spelling, and terminology skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.

• Must fulfill at least one of the following criteria: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or an equivalent with substantial translation training); 2+ years of translation experience alongside a college degree; 5+ years of translation experience without a degree; or possess a translation certification from a recognized governmental authority.
