Fraud Team Manager – Out of Hours

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead a team consisting of around 12 Fraud Investigators

• Analyze performance and wellbeing trends, offering feedback and coaching to team members

• Oversee performance management, absence, wellbeing, and return-to-work processes

• Foster team engagement through daily tasks and Monzo’s broader mission

• Facilitate career development with personalized development plans

• Analyze, comprehend, and routinely report on performance and absence metrics

• Ensure the maintenance of accurate documentation

• Assist in recruitment efforts within the Fraud domain

• Present team performance updates during weekly meetings with operations managers

• Support adherence to service levels and liaise with Workforce Management

• Communicate and implement changes within the team

• Reduce breaches and risk occurrences

• Review complaints and quality assurance failures to identify areas for improvement

• Conduct team quality assessments and provide constructive feedback

• Chair employee relations cases and make decisions in line with Monzo’s values

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven leadership and people management experience

• Values-driven approach that aligns with Monzo’s core principles

• Strong expertise in Fraud, capable of resolving complex and technical escalations

• Proficient in coaching and developing teams and individuals

• Experience in identifying performance and wellbeing trends while delivering coaching and support

• Ability to provide specific, actionable feedback to diverse audiences and levels

• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team

• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize time-sensitive tasks

• Availability to work 37.5 hours per week, from 5pm to 1:30am, Monday through Friday
