
Franchise Business Consultant – Field Based

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Offer guidance and coaching to franchisees and the Operations team to meet company and operational objectives.
• Advise franchisee owners/operators on enhancing sales, profitability, operating standards, and systems while fulfilling customer expectations.
• Ensure adherence to IDQ policies and system standards.
• Maintain support from DMA chairpeople and other franchisee leaders to achieve operational targets.
• Execute the Worldwide Operations Business Plan for the designated district.
• Develop and implement district-wide business plans encompassing marketing, operations, training, development, and supply chain.
• Create and implement business plans with franchise owners as appropriate.
• Provide counsel and assistance to ensure alignment with ADQ’s Operations and Marketing Plan.
• Guide marketing performance through collaboration with departments, vendors, and franchisees.
• Prepare franchisees to achieve goals related to shift management, food safety, quality, service, cleanliness, maintenance, and atmosphere.
• Offer advice and support to promote the financial health of franchisees.
• Collaborate with ADQ staff on strategies for development, reinvestment, and renewal for new and existing franchisees.
• Assist other departments and functions as necessary.
• Support new store openings as required.
• Undertake ad hoc projects as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, restaurant management, or a related field, or equivalent experience in restaurant operations.
• A minimum of 4 years in restaurant management (preferably multi-unit/high volume) and/or franchise operations management, or a comparable mix of education and experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Comprehensive knowledge and familiarity with the Restaurant Industry (QSR preferred).
• In-depth understanding of restaurant operations.
• Strong knowledge of marketing, finance, training, human resources, and development.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
• Capacity to multitask and prioritize various projects and requests.
• Strong relationship-building capabilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• ServSafe certification.
• Frequent communication via telephone and email.
• Ability to travel overnight, averaging two weeks per month.
• Must be capable of driving a vehicle and being insured by the company insurance provider.
• Ability to travel by airplane.
• Capability to stand on concrete or tiled surfaces for up to 8 hours daily when visiting franchisee locations.
• No food or beverage allergies that would hinder tasting products or working in a Dairy Queen restaurant environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
