This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and continually enhance the product roadmap.
• Interpret the company’s vision and customer insights into specific product priorities.
• Define Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and prioritize features based on customer value, strategic significance, technical feasibility, and market timing.
• Implement a structured product development process as the organization transitions from proof-of-concept to a commercial product.
• Collaborate directly with renewable energy developers to gain insights into workflows, challenges, and technological requirements.
• Engage in customer interviews, proof-of-concept demonstrations, and product feedback sessions.
• Transform customer feedback into practical product requirements.
• Recognize opportunities for AI to enhance renewable energy development.
• Outline AI-driven workflows, agents, predictions, recommendations, and automation.
• Prioritize the renewable energy knowledge model, data architecture, and intelligence layer of NovaDeveloper.
• Develop methods for AI evaluation, accuracy, human oversight, and customer trust.
• Create product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering to decompose large concepts into manageable development increments.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and product demonstrations.
• Ensure that products are tested in alignment with the actual workflows of renewable energy developers.
• Act as a liaison among customers, founders, domain experts, design, engineering, and sales.
• Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to communicate product priorities and trade-offs to leadership.
• Create a clear 12 to 18-month roadmap and assist in the transition from proof-of-concept to paying customers.
• Around 10 years of product management experience in the Renewable Energy sector, ideally focused on developing tools for developers and Independent Power Producers (IPPs).
• Experience in project development, including sizing, interconnect queues, power flow studies, PVsyst, PVCase, ArcGIS, financial modeling, proposal submissions, RFP management, and supplier bidding.
• Proven success in product management, preferably with B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
• Experience in taking products from concept/MVP to commercialization.
• Strong experience in directly engaging with customers and translating their challenges into product solutions.
• Demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively with software engineering and technical teams.
• In-depth understanding of product discovery, prioritization, roadmapping, requirements, and agile development methodologies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable navigating significant ambiguity and operating with limited resources.
• Willingness to take a hands-on approach.
• Familiarity with renewable energy development, utility-scale renewable energy workflows, AI-driven software, and early-stage product environments.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• No specific educational credentials are required.
• Eligible for relevant benefit programs provided through partner agencies.
• Contractual fractional engagement of approximately 15 to 20 hours per week.
