This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Architect production-scale TypeScript monorepos utilizing Nx or Turborepo.

• Design services using Next.js and Node.js frameworks.

• Model PostgreSQL data, focusing on financial or ledger-style data while ensuring transactional integrity, auditability, and state machines.

• Integrate security and compliance into the architecture, incorporating RBAC/MFA, immutable audit trails, and data residency/segregation.

• Convert SOC 2 Type II, EU Data Act, or similar regulatory requirements into architectural strategies.

• Create data isolation and segregation architectures that combine sensitive persisted data with AI or third-party processing.

• Collaborate with product and compliance teams focused on security from the Discovery phase, where applicable.

• Engage in challenging FinTech, B2B software, and e-commerce projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in architecting TypeScript monorepos (Nx or Turborepo) at a production level.

• Extensive knowledge of designing services with Next.js and Node.js.

• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL data modeling, particularly with financial or ledger-style data (transactional integrity, auditability, state machines).

• Practical experience in embedding security and compliance into architecture — including RBAC/MFA, immutable audit trails, and data residency/segregation.

• Familiarity with SOC 2 Type II and/or the EU Data Act (or equivalent regulatory frameworks), with the capability to translate compliance requirements into actionable architectural decisions.

• Proven ability to design data isolation and segregation architectures for systems integrating sensitive persisted data with AI or third-party processing.

• Previous architecture experience in fintech or other regulated sectors (healthtech, insurtech, etc.) — preferred.

• Proficiency in cloud-agnostic Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar) — preferred.

• Experience collaborating with a security-focused PM or compliance function from the Discovery phase onward — preferred.
