Fractional COO, Chief Operating Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Transform the strategic vision of the CEO into actionable, prioritized plans.

• Organize the structure of the organization: including processes, management routines, governance, and defined roles and responsibilities.

• Develop and oversee key operational and financial performance metrics.

• Enhance communication between the CEO and the various teams.

• Critically evaluate strategic choices and ensure sustainable growth.

• Assist in the recruitment and development of essential team members.

• Drive significant initiatives, such as scaling, restructuring, expansion, and professional enhancement.

• Collaborate directly with CEOs supported by Fractional as a strategic and operational partner.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–15+ years of experience in leadership roles in operations, general management, strategic consulting, or entrepreneurship.

• Extensive experience in a startup, scale-up, high-growth SME, or entrepreneurial setting.

• Exceptional skills in organizational structuring, performance management, and prioritization.

• Strong capabilities in management, finance, and organizational development.

• Ability to engage with demanding CEOs and challenge them diplomatically.

• High degree of autonomy, accountability, and professional maturity.

• Comfort in a fractional, multi-client working environment.

• Experience as a founder, co-founder, or former COO is highly advantageous.
