This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and develop the forecasting tool within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Initially implement the tool for HelpGrid, BuyGoods, and MaxWeb.

• Create and automate reporting from raw revenue and cost data.

• Generate clear reports comparing forecasts to actual outcomes.

• Take ownership of the accountability loop, ensuring business leaders comprehend and support their forecasts.

• Adapt the forecasting model to accommodate increasing business complexity.

• Collaborate directly with the Group CFO, Financial Controllers, and leaders of business units.

• Establish the foundations of revenue forecasting within the initial 3–6 months.

• Develop a replicable, scalable, and reportable forecasting tool for the entire Group within 12 months.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, senior-level experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

• Experience in creating a forecasting capability or model from the ground up.

• Confident in managing forecast-versus-actual discussions with business stakeholders and addressing discrepancies when figures do not align.

• Practical experience with forecasting in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly advantageous.

• Background in developing forecasting systems on other ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Sage, Workday, Anaplan, or similar, with a quick adaptability.

• Proficient in complex “what-if” modeling.

• Ability to operate independently without a team or predefined playbook.

• Professional finance qualifications (CIMA/CGMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) are preferred but not mandatory.
