FP&A Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute comprehensive planning exercises utilizing mock files to generate deliverables that are evaluated against a rubric.

• Develop annual budgets from the ground up and create multi-year long-range plans with appropriate consolidation and approval processes.

• Create rolling reforecasts of P&L, cash flow, and KPIs by leveraging actual figures and updated drivers.

• Formulate headcount and capital expenditure plans that encompass hiring pacing, project approvals, payback, and prioritization.

• Generate monthly management reporting packs complete with variance analysis commentary.

• Conduct profitability analyses for products, customers, or segments using a cost allocation methodology.

• Project revenue based on bookings, pipeline coverage, and demand indicators.

• Record model drivers and underlying assumptions.

• Execute assessments that involve a rolling reforecast, management reporting pack, and headcount and capital expenditure plan.

• Collaborate on projects aimed at training and enhancing AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in FP&A within an operating company, responsible for managing a plan or reforecast cycle.

• Proficiency in advanced Excel modeling.

• Ability to provide insights into variances rather than just performing calculations.

• Experience in finance business partnering or commercial finance is a plus.

• Familiarity with planning systems such as Anaplan, Adaptive, or Pigment is desirable.

• Must be capable of working as an independent contractor.
