Foundry Support Desk Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary point of contact for all Foundry support inquiries.

• Address questions, classify issues based on complexity and impact, and manage the resolution process from initial contact to closure.

• Analyze and resolve Foundry-related issues utilizing knowledge of Spark, data pipelines, and platform architecture.

• Forward issues to Use Case Leads, Data Source Developers, and other technical teams with comprehensive context and reproduction steps.

• Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and FAQs.

• Develop and oversee monitoring and reporting systems for support volume, resolution times, and recurring failure patterns.

• Identify systemic problems and collaborate with development teams to address root causes.

• Contribute to onboarding and training materials to enhance proficiency in Foundry.

• Solid understanding of business workflows and technical structures and concepts within Foundry.

• In-depth knowledge of Spark, data pipelines, and platform architecture.

• Experience in creating and utilizing reporting and monitoring systems for support services.

• Strong investigative and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and support workflows.

• Confidence in communicating technical issues to development teams and Palantir support teams.

• Capability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
