Founding Recruiter – Tech Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Actively engage with the startup and tech talent community while representing Pragmatike

• Create and implement recruiting systems, processes, and standards from the ground up

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance the hiring strategy

• Recruit across various functions, including engineering and go-to-market roles

• Expand the recruiting team in line with the company's growth phase

• Identify, attract, and engage top-tier technology talent

• Work closely with the founders

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in recruiting for technical positions, either in-house or at a search agency

• Comfortable navigating startup environments characterized by ambiguity, rapid changes, and significant growth

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Well-connected and esteemed by peers, possessing a strong personal brand within the recruiting community

• Active presence on LinkedIn with a trusted professional network

• Strong emphasis on quality, processes, and candidate experience

• Openness to working flexibly in a fully remote, freelance-friendly position

• Previous experience in recruiting for early-stage startups or high-growth tech companies (preferred)

• Familiarity with AI, SaaS, or B2B talent markets (preferred)

• Interest in writing or speaking on topics related to recruiting, talent, or startup culture (preferred)
