Founding Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the product roadmap covering inference, RL/post-training, and GPU compute.

• Establish priorities, make trade-offs, and guide the team towards impactful work.

• Engage directly with customers to comprehend and prioritize their requirements, translating them into working-backwards documents, PRDs, and specifications.

• Lead the engineering team on a daily basis and collaborate with the VP of Engineering and fellow PMs to deliver products.

• Balance the need for speed and thoroughness while facilitating the engineering team's progress.

• Collaborate with technical business development to evaluate market and customer demands.

• Integrate market and customer feedback into the product roadmap.

• Gain an understanding of relevant market products and define Boundless's competitive positioning.

• Make swift product decisions in uncertain circumstances, assessing when to gather additional insights versus committing to a course of action.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in product leadership at both an AI startup and a larger/non-startup organization.

• Extensive knowledge of the AI infrastructure, compute, and inference product landscape.

• Demonstrated history of managing roadmaps and delivering technical products from start to finish.

• Excellent customer-facing skills, including discovery, prioritization, and working backwards.

• Capability to lead engineers and work effectively with a VP of Engineering and PM colleagues.

• Strong product intuition, comfort with ambiguity, and a decisive bias for action.

• Technical fluency in inference, RL, or GPU compute sufficient to gain engineers' trust.

• 2–6 years of relevant experience in product management.

• Proven ability to build and launch products from the ground up.

• Background in ML/AI infrastructure, GPU compute, or distributed systems.

• Familiarity with working-backwards/PR-FAQ product methodologies.

• Previous experience in an individual contributor engineering role.

• Experience in bringing a technical platform or API product to market.

• Experience with distributed systems or infrastructure platform products.

• Links to products or platforms launched and, when feasible, examples of roadmaps managed.
