Forward Deployed Engineer, Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in a 10-week program collaborating directly with customers and teams to help them derive value from the Domino platform.

• Develop code and design solutions tailored to client needs.

• Provide support in real-world, critical environments across sectors such as healthcare, life sciences, finance, government, and more.

• Participate in significant and visible projects from the outset.

• Collaborate with software engineering, customer empathy, and domain knowledge in a forward-deployed engineering capacity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong enthusiasm for AI/data engineering, software engineering, large language models, and their practical implementations.

• Proficiency in Python is essential.

• Additional experience with R, Java, or C/C++ is advantageous.

• Familiarity with building applied AI systems, such as RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, or model evaluation, through coursework, internships, or personal projects.

• Comfort with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• A keen interest in customer-facing roles.

• Expected graduation in Spring 2028.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related discipline.
