This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Develop and launch a specialized document-analysis application utilizing an existing commercial intelligence engine.
• Collaborate closely with customer stakeholders, regulatory specialists, and the core engineering team.
• Convert approved comment-processing workflows into application specifications, data structures, and acceptance criteria.
• Execute ingestion, normalization, search, categorization, source traceability, analyst review, and export functionalities.
• Integrate interfaces with authorized data sources and government-provided systems.
• Early identification of access dependencies.
• Create a reviewer interface that accommodates corrections, multiple issue mappings, and audit trails.
• Assess retrieval, classification, and summary quality on representative records in collaboration with regulatory experts.
• Conduct tests on duplicate handling, attachment coverage, reconciliation, high-volume processing, and reproducible exports.
• Implement approved measures for authentication, permissions, logging, monitoring, backups, and deployment controls.
• Assist in accessibility validation, security assessments, release management, technical documentation, and incident resolution.
• Coordinate custom application modifications with the core platform team.
• Keep an inventory of both existing and newly developed components.
• A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience (Four (4) years).
• Strong software engineering background with a focus on delivering production applications.
• Experience in integrating APIs and data pipelines.
• Proficient in a suitable modern application stack.
• Competence in database design.
• Proficiency in automated validation.
• Expertise in cloud operations.
• Practical experience with retrieval or language-model applications, evaluation, and source-grounded outputs is highly desirable.
• Ability and willingness to sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.
• Exceptional customer service skills through phone and face-to-face interactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
