This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +6 more states.
• Transform strategic enterprise deployments into successful production-ready implementations by working on-site, addressing customer challenges, and creating reusable automation patterns.
• Lead concentrated 5-day deployment initiatives with enterprise clients, arriving with a hypothesis and departing with established production workflows.
• Collaborate with Deployment Strategists to ensure that technical execution aligns with customer priorities, stakeholder requirements, and adoption objectives.
• Establish trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders by converting complex environments into actionable solutions.
• Design and develop workflows, integrations, and custom nodes that are tailored to customer environments and scalable beyond their initial use case.
• Enhance existing n8n nodes or introduce necessary functionality for high-value enterprise applications.
• Convert vague business challenges into practical automation designs.
• Operate across various industries and technology stacks.
• Recognize when unique requirements should evolve into reusable node enhancements, product features, or platform capabilities.
• Document technical gaps, customer context, implementation insights, and prioritization signals for Product and Engineering teams.
• Share reusable insights, workflows, custom nodes, and integration patterns within an internal playbook library.
• Execute time-bound customer engagements with clear and defined outcomes.
• Develop solutions that customers can manage and operate independently.
• Streamline solutions and challenge unnecessary complexity.
• Strong full-stack or backend engineering experience.
• Experience in building integrations, APIs, or automation pipelines in production.
• Capability to create custom nodes and extend existing integrations.
• Proficient in working with APIs, authentication frameworks, data models, and event-driven systems.
• Ability to differentiate between customer workarounds, reusable node enhancements, and product features.
• Comfort in collaborating directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders in customer environments.
• Skill in transforming chaotic operational issues into practical technical designs.
• Strong technical judgment with a focus on avoiding unnecessary complexity.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50-60% of the time for on-site engagements, primarily across Europe.
• Quick adaptability to new industries, technology stacks, and customer environments.
• Familiarity with n8n or similar workflow automation tools is a plus.
• Experience in enterprise deployments is advantageous.
• Background in developing custom nodes, connectors, plugins, SDKs, or reusable integration frameworks is beneficial.
• Prior experience in forward deployment or solutions engineering is a plus.
• Ability to translate customer insights into product feedback, roadmap contributions, or engineering specifications is advantageous.
• Existing right to work is necessary outside of Germany; visa sponsorship is available for employment in Germany.
• Proficiency in English as it is the company's primary language.
